The M4 provides easy access to this pleasant part of the Blue Mountains. The local swimming pool is within walking distance. Within a short distance east, on
the M4 at Blaxland, is the historic Lapstone Hotel - and old coaching station, an excellent chinese retaurant, a Pizza bar and barbecue chicken shop.

Heading west , but a similar distance is the Blaxland shoppping area, with numerous restaurants, supermarket, bread shops etc. There is also a railway station here.

Travel down again just a couple of kilometres east and you reach historic Glenbrook, a typical unspoiled mountains village which is the gateway to the Blue Mountains National Park. Here you will also find numerous restaurants a supermarket and other shops, Tourist information,and the Glenbrook Cinema. Visit Glenbrook Village web site for information on sites of historical interest, and walks available in the park, and stop at the entrance to the park for further information. Glenbrook village map will help you find your way. Glenbrook railway station is also nearby.

Panthers World of Entertainment, and the Penrith Lakes White Water Rowing course are approximately 20 minutes by car
